“They call it Cửu Long, the Land of Nine Dragons - a realm of mist and water where the earth drinks deeply and life is reborn with every season’s flood.”
In 1897, colonial France outlawed Rượu Đế in Vietnam, forcing a violent and ineffective state monopoly. It was about power and control. Afraid the Vietnamese people might fund their independence by selling these treasures to the world, France tried to silence a tradition older than their own rule.
The people of Vietnam had no choice but to dismantle their stills or go rogue, carrying their equipment in secret deep into their ricefields. There, beneath the moonlight and mist, the craft lived on in defiance. It was among those hidden stills that you would find our very own.
Today, our 5th-generation Master Distiller still guards the flame, carrying forward his family’s Legacy. From the very same still, we bring you our authentic spirit - enduring and unbroken, just as it was hundreds of years ago.

Our almost 200 years old still is a proud proof of defiance, hidden away during the French occupation, it survived all odds.
Today, we produce in honor of his legacy, authentic, locally sourced ingredients, and in the exact same way as our distillers familly did generations ago.

The First Hùng King is not merely a ruler, but the sacred seed from which the entire Vietnamese lineage grew. To speak of him is to speak of the union of Heaven, Earth, Mountain, and Sea—the birth of Vietnamese identity as the Children of the Dragon and the Fairy.
